Fall League for girls in
5th and 6th grade in Lexington

For the first time ever Carpe Diem Volleyball Club (or anyone) is offering a fall volleyball league for girls in 5th and 6th grade.
Most schools do not allow girls to play volleyball until they reach 7th grade. We think this is too late to get the volleyball players
engaged in competitive volleyball. This fall 5th and 6th grade girls will be placed onto a team. They will practice 2 times a week
and play against the other teams in the league. These games will have a referee and the girls will wear uniforms. We are making
this as "middle school like" as possible. This will give the girls the advantage of playing a season or two of volleyball before they get to the middle school team.
Who:
Only 5th and 6th graders.
Location:
Lexington- Mt. Herob United Methodist Church and Lexington Leisure Center.
Date:
League will start the week of August 24th and end with tournament of Oct. 24th.
Practice times will vary: Your daughter will be placed on a team that will practice either of the times listed below
Mt. Horeb UMC-right after school- 4:15-6:00 Pm. Monday and Thursday nights
Lexington Leisure Center- evening- 6:00-7:30 Pm. Monday and Wednesday nights.
Games:
Games will be on Tuesday nights at Saxegotha Presbyterian Church from 6-7:30 PM starting in the 4th week of the league. We will end with one big end of the year tournament on Saturday October 24th. You can check the Calendar at the link at the top of the page.
Cost:
The cost for the 9 week program is $150. This includes a Carpe Diem Club coach, all practice time, games (with referee), and uniform.
